“In the village of the Masi di Imer”, was passionately curated by Rossana Pellegrin in Brandstetter, with the collaboration of the “Gari Group” of Imer.

The work was born from a historical exhibition on the Masi di Imer also set up by Rossana Pellegrin in the summer of 2012. The success of visitors and the many invitations to continue the initiative convinced Rossana Pellegrin to collect the numerous documents in a publication which with so much patience and passion she had managed to find in the archives of the Municipality of Imer and beyond. In fact, the operation is in fact a collective effort, which involved local history enthusiasts, elderly people and inhabitants of the Imer farms, all "suggestors" of ideas and news, which enriched the timely and meticulous research of the author of the book .

The Masi, a fraction of Imer, are still a compact group of houses located at the entrance to Imer and therefore to the Primiero valley.

At one time in that locality, as attested by two existing documents in the historical archive of the Municipality of Imer, there was even "the Porto dei Masi", which meant that the wood for Venice left from that very "port", giving thus began one of the first and flourishing commercial activities of the Primiero, carried out by the "Menadàs" i.e. those employed "in the transport of timber trunks - as Rossana Pellegrin writes - made to flow along the Cismon stream and thus transported to the plain. Their life was very hard, forced to sleep in humble shacks built along the bed of the Cismon, while their wives with their children lived in the Masi village".
